The Atlanta Falcons announced Friday that they have waived LB Jermaine Grace and P Ryan Allen.
Allen was expendable for the Falcons now that Matt Bosher eligible to return in Week 14.
Allen, 29, wound up signing on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana Tech back in 2013. Allen had one year remaining on his rookie contract when he and the Patriots agreed to a new three-year extension back in 2015.
Allen re-signed with the Patriots back in March only for the team to cut him loose during the preseason. The Falcons signed him to a contract a few weeks ago.
In 2019, Allen has appeared in four games for the Falcons and totaled 552 yards on 14 attempts (39.4 YPA), which includes six punts downed inside the 20-yard line.
