Frank Gore Absent From The Start OTA’s

Eric Branch of the San Francisco Chronicle writes that a number of 49ers’ players were absent from start of OTA’s including RB Frank Gore, WR Randy Moss, K David Akers, OL Jonathan Goodwin, and S Dashon Goldson. 

Goldson has yet to sign his franchise tender, but the remaining players should be much of an issue for the team. San Francisco has already said that they’ve anticipated the absence of Randy Moss, and Gore should join the team at some point in the near future. Gore signed a four-year deal worth $25.9 million last year, so it would be surprising to see him holdout at this point.
