Multiple sources have told Grant Paulsen that Raiders free agent CB T.J. Carrie is expected to be a consideration for the Redskins as the secondary market begins to unfold.
- Last we heard regarding Carrie, Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reported that the Broncos had expressed interest in him.
- Nicki Jhabvala confirms that Broncos have Carrie on their list of potential targets.
Carrie, 27, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,286,964 contract with the Oakland Raiders and is now in position to test the free agent market for the first time in his NFL career.
In 2017, Carrie appeared in all 16 games for the Raiders and recorded 84 tackles, two fumble recoveries and nine pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 21 cornerback out of 120 qualifying players.
