Free Agent LB Darron Lee Suspended Four Weeks

Field Yates of ESPN reports that free agent LB Darron Lee has been suspended for the first four weeks of the 2020 season.

Lee actually tried out for the Bills a few weeks ago, but left Buffalo without a deal.

Lee, 25, is a former first-round pick of the Jets back in 2016. He was in the final year of his four-year, $10.221 million contract when the Jets declined his fifth-year option for the 2020 season.

From there, the Jets traded Lee to the Chiefs for a sixth-round pick. He has been testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent since March.

In 2019, Lee appeared in all 16 games for the Chiefs and recorded 29 tackles and no sacks or interceptions.

We have him included in our Top 100 Available 2020 Free Agents list.
