According to Jordan Raanan, the Giants interviewed OC Mike Shula on Monday as they work to fill out new HC Joe Judge‘s staff.
Shula has been the offensive coordinator in New York for the past two seasons under previous HC Pat Shurmur.
Shula, 54, began his NFL coaching career back in 1988 as an offensive assistant for the Buccaneers. He later worked for the Dolphins, Bears and Jaguars before being hired as the Panthers QBs coach in 2011.
Carolina promoted Shula to offensive coordinator a few years later and he remained in the position for the five seasons. Shula joined the Giants in 2018.
In 2019, New York ranked No. 23 in yards per game, No. 18 in scoring, No. 18 in passing yards per game and No. 19 in rushing yards per game.
