Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Giants are working out WR Josh Lenz on Tuesday.
- Wilson notes that Lenz made a strong bid for a roster spot with the Browns this summer.
Lenz, 24, originally signed on with the Bears as an undrafted free agent out of Iowa State back in 2013. He lasted just a few months with the Bears before he was waived and later caught on with the Seahawks.
The Colts wound up bringing him in towards the end of the 2013 season and later signed him to a future/reserve contract in January.
Lenz later caught on with the Browns towards the end of May, but was unfortunately among the team’s roster cuts a few weeks ago.
Lenz has yet to appear in an NFL game.
