Jaguars DT Carl Davis has been suspended by the league for the first four games of the 2020 season for violating the NFL policy on performance-enhancing substances, per John Reid.
Davis, 27, was originally a third-round pick by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft out of Iowa. He was in the third year of his four-year rookie contract when the Ravens waived him back in 2018.
Davis was claimed by the Browns the day after off waivers and finished out the year in Cleveland. He returned to the Browns last year before eventually catching on with the Colts in October.
The Jaguars signed Davis to their roster towards the end of the season and he is in line to be a free agent this offseason.
In 2019, Davis appeared in three games for the Colts and Jaguars and recorded one tackle.
