Jaguars Waived DB Doran Grant From Injured Reserve

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they’ve officially waived DB Doran Grant from injured reserve with a settlement on Monday.

Grant, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Giants back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason last year before later signing on to the Steelers’ practice squad.

Pittsburgh once again cut Grant loose coming out of the preseason last year and this time he signed on to the Bills’ practice squad. Unfortunately, the Bills waived Grant a few weeks into the 2016 season and he later signed on to the Giants’ practice squad.

New York elected to waive him in October before he eventually caught on with the Jaguars. Jacksonville brought him back on a future/reserve contract this past January only to waive him with an injury designation a few weeks ago.

In 2015, Grant appeared in three games but did not record a single statistic.
