According to Aaron Wilson, the Jaguars brought in six players for workouts on Wednesday, including RB D’Onta Foreman.
The full list of players includes:
- LB Malik Carney
- RB D’Onta Foreman
- DB Josh Nurse
- DB Donovan Ulumba
- RB Craig Reynolds
- LB Gabe Sewell
The Jaguars also hosted RB Dare Ogunbowale for a visit and are reportedly signing him to a contract.
Foreman, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Texans back in 2017. He signed a four-year contract worth $3,159,484 that included a signing bonus of $759,484 with the Texans.
Foreman was waived by Houston in 2019 after spending most of his time with them on the PUP list with an Achilles injury. He was later claimed by the Colts before ending up on injured reserve with a bicep injury.
From there, the Colts waived Foreman with an injury settlement.The Lions brought him in for a workout last week but he left Detroit without a contract.
In 2017, Foreman rushed for 327 yards on 78 carries (4.2 YPC) to go along with six receptions for 83 yards receiving and two touchdowns over the course of 10 games. His 2017 season came to an end with him being placed on injured reserve.
