According to Howard Balzer, the Jaguars brought in free agents WRsย Chris Matthews and Walt Powell. for tryouts on Tuesday.

Matthews, 28, originally signed on with the Browns as an undrafted free agent out of Kentucky back in 2011. He lasted just a few months in Cleveland before he was waived at the start of the season.
It took a few years for him to secure another opportunity, but he signed a future/reserve contract with the Seahawks in February of 2014 and went on to help in the Super Bowl.
Matthews signed on with the Ravens the following year and has been on and off of their roster ever since.
In 2017, Matthews has appeared in six games and caught three passes for 25 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
