Lions Sign S Rolan Milligan To Practice Squad, Release CB Adairius Barnes

The Detroit Lions announced Thursday that they’ve signed S Rolan Milligan to their practice squad and released CB Adairius Barnes from the unit.

The Lions’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Dontez Ford (Injured)
  2. DE Earl Okine
  3. TE Hakeem Valles
  4. WR Andy Jones
  5. QB Brad Kaaya
  6. OT Dan Skipper
  7. WR Jace Billingsley
  8. DE Jeremiah Valoaga
  9. C Leo Koloamatangi
  10. S Rolan Milligan

Milligan, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Cowboys last year as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo. He was, unfortunately, waived with an injury designation a few months later and later reverted to the team’s injured reserve list.

The Cowboys elected to waive him with an injury settlement a few weeks later. Milligan signed on with the Lions during the offseason but was waived coming out of the preseason and has been on and off of their practice squad this year.

During his one year at Toledo, Milligan record 34 tackles, two interceptions with one being returned for a touchdown, three pass defenses, and three forced fumbles.
