Jeff McLane ofย The Philadelphia Inquirer writes that Saints free agent S Malcolm Jenkins could be a decent option for the Eagles to consider once free agency is underway.
Philadelphia is believed to be targetingย mid-level free agents, so with that in mind,ย Jenkins seems like an option that worth considering.
Jenkins, 26, is a convertedย cornerback whoย McLane believesย couldย benefit from a change of scenery and a new defensive scheme.
He’s spent each of his first five years in the NFL with the Saints. In 2013, he totaledย 68 tackles, 2.5 sacks, two interceptions and two forced fumbles. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 65 safety in the league and below-average in coverage.
