Rick Stroud of the Tampa Times reports that the Texas A&M head coach Mike Sherman appears to be the favorite for the Buccaneers coaching job.
Tampa has brought in a number of coordinators in recent weeks to interview. Former Vikings head coach Brad Childress, Texans DC Wade Phillips, Bengals DC Mike Zimmer and Titans DC Jerry Gray have all been part of the process.
Sherman brings a solid offensive scheme and potentially better leadership to a very young Buccaneers team. This isn’t a guarantee but it seems like a strong possibility.
