- Cowboys HC Jason Garrett said RB Ezekiel Elliott is dealing with some hip soreness, which is why the running back did not practice on Sunday. Garrett did, however, say that Elliott will practice on Monday. (Todd Archer)

Redskins
- Regarding being taken to the hospital last Thursday, Redskins LT Trent Williams said he was dehydrated and a little light-headed and there was some concern that he may kidney damage, but that turned out to not be the case. Williams added that his ribs are fine. (John Keim)

Hey Evan Engram….. Mara, Gettleman and Shurmur will be trading your services at season’s end. Because you are more of a receiver, than a combo TE. And you were not a pick of the current GM. Yet! In 2018 when the receiving crew was decimated you were the one constant. You brought to the GMEN what Jeremy Shockey brought as far as football skills. Shockey just spoke the truth about Manning and we all know what happened to Shockey next.
That’s hysterical news! Shurmur said, “Eli is the starting QB against the Bears.” Of course Señor Doofus is starting against the Bears. Mack will have 4 sacks in the 1st quarter alone. Shurmur and Manning are a match made in Mara heaven. Meaning….. Neither one has a clue on what is going on around them. Manning will not be benched, believe it. I have been saying this fact all year long. And at season’s end Manning will get a new 2 yr. deal to lessen the 2019 cap hit of his current deal. And possibly a low $$$$$ 3rd yr. option. Even though Mara wants to give Manning a brand new fully guarantteed 5 yr. deal worth Aaron Rodgers money.
The Saquon Barkley pick was a wrong move. Even IF the GMEN remedy the QB/o-line situation in 2019. Opposing defenses will load up against Barkley, forcing the newbie QB or Señor Doofus to beat them. We’re seeing first hand Manning can’t beat a second string secondary. Maybe the 2019 manning will be full of plays consisting of multiple qb sneaks. Everyone knows a RBs longevity is 5-7 years and the GMEN brass have already wasted one of Barkley’s years in the NFL.
