NFC West Notes: 49ers, Rams, Seahawks

49ers

  • 49ers CB Richard Sherman (calf) said he plans to practice on Thursday and didn’t rule out playing in Week 5. (Matt Barrows)
  • 49ers first-round RTย Mike McGlinchey underwent MRI on Monday on his knee and everything checked out, so it looks like heโ€™ll be good to go for Sundayโ€™s game. (Matt Maiocco)

Rams

Rams HCย Sean McVay told reporters on Wednesday that CB Marcus Peters (hamstring) is “doing good” but they still want to be smart with him moving forward.

โ€œHeโ€™s doing good,โ€ McVay said, via Pro Football Talk. โ€œI think he was sore just like anything else. You continue to come away impressed with just the toughness, what a great competitor he is. I think any time youโ€™re talking about a soft tissue injury, especially from a corner spot, we want to be smart. Weโ€™ll probably monitor and kind of just alleviate what his typical workload would be to get him as fresh as possible for Sunday. But heโ€™s feeling good and heโ€™s making strides in the right direction.โ€

Seahawks

Regarding LB Mychal Kendricks indefinite suspension, Seahawks HC Pete Carroll said he does not “have a sense” of what is happening with Kendricks at this point in time.

How do you define indefinitely?โ€ Carroll said, via ProFootballTalk. โ€œI donโ€™t know. We pressed that. What does that mean? It means indefinitely. We donโ€™t have a sense for whatโ€™s going to happen right now and they couldnโ€™t give us any, so we know nothing moving forward.”
