The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have made the decision to retain their 14-year veteran CB Ronde Barber who agreed to a one-year deal. As of now there’s no mention of as to how much he’ll make for the 2011 season but he made $3 million last year so it would make sense for the deal to be not to far off of that total.
Barber will be 36 next year but has proven to be one of the most durable players in the NFL considering that the has started every game since 2000. The Buc’s will have one of the youngest rosters in the NFL again next season so Barber’s will give them a much need veteran presence in the locker room.
