Aaron Hernandez

• A Bristol Superior Court judge in the Aaron Hernandez case threw out evidence from electronic devices that were seized by authorities.

“[Troopers] operated under the misimpression that the Search Warrant authorized the seizure of GPS devices when they seized the cell phones and tablets from Hernandez’s residence,” Garsh wrote, via the Boston Globe.

Browns

• HC Mike Pettine was noncommittal on WR Nate Burleson‘s roster status after he returned to workouts Monday. (Akron Beacon-Journal)

Chiefs

• HC Andy Reid mentioned that WR Frankie Hammond Jr. is likely start in place of suspended WR Dwayne Bowe for Week 1’s game against the Titans. (Adam Teicher)

Steelers

• The new CBA prevents the Steelers from disciplining RBs Le’Veon Bell or LeGarrette Blount, so team-imposed suspension is not going to happen. (Ed Bouchette)
