Packers Sign CB Robertson Daniel To Practice Squad

The Green Bay Packers signed CB Robertson Daniel to their practice squad on Thursday, according to Ryan Wood.

The Packers’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Geronimo Allison
  2. LB Carl Bradford
  3. TE Devon Cajuste
  4. OLB Reggie Gilbert
  5. G Blake Muir
  6. G Lucas Patrick
  7. CB Robertson Daniel
  8. WR Herb Waters
  9. CB Jermaine Whitehead
  10. RB Don Jackson

Daniel had previously worked out for the Bengals and Chiefs.

The Packers could obviously use some cornerback depth with Sam Shields still in the concussion protocol.

Daniel, 24, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the Packers’ practice squad.

Green Bay would eventually call him up towards the end of last year. However, he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

During his college career at BYU, Daniel recorded 112 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and 19 pass defenses.
