According to Rob Demovsky, the Green Bay Packers hosted six free agents for tryouts in recent days.
The full list includes:
- QB Drew Anderson
- TE Dominique Dafney
- TE Matt Flanagan
- C Sam Jones
- T Evin Ksiezarczyk
- WR Caleb Scott
Anderson, 24, signed on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Murray State back in May of last year. He was among Arizona’s final roster cuts coming out of the preseason and was added to their practice squad.
Arizona eventually signed Anderson to their active roster before waiving this past summer.
During his three-year college career at Buffalo and Murray State, Anderson recorded 324 completions on 536 pass attempts (60.4 percent) for 3,903 yards, 30 touchdowns and 16 interceptions.
Flanagan, 25, wound up signing on with the Redskins as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in May of 2018. He was waived at the start of the regular season and later signed to Washington’s practice squad.
Washington elected to promote Flanagan to their active roster in December of last year but was waived with an injury designation and eventually cut from their injured reserve with a settlement.
Flanagan signed on with the Jaguars in August, but was let go a few weeks later.
In 2018, Flanagan appeared in three games and recorded one reception for 14 yards and no touchdowns.
