The Carolina Panthers announced that they’ve waived CB Lorenzo Doss on Thursday to make room for newly signed S Eric Reid.
Doss, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Broncos back in 2015. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2.477 million contract when the Broncos waived him last November.
Doss later signed on to the Bills practice squad before signing a futures contract with the Panthers this past January. He was, unfortunately, among the Panthers’ roster cuts at the start of the regular season but returned to Carolina a few days later.
In 2018, Doss has appeared in one game for the Panthers and recorded one tackle and no interceptions or pass defenses.
