Patriots LB Harvey Langi Expected To Miss 4-5 Weeks With Internal Laceration

Jeff Howe of the Athletic reports that Patriots LB Harvey Langi is expected to miss 4-5 weeks with an internal laceration that he suffered during practice.

According to Howe, thereโ€™s a concern that laceration could be to Langiโ€™s kidney, which is why he isnโ€™t expected to be cleared for a month or so.

Langi, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of BYU last year. He signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $555,000 this season.

Unfortunately, Langi was placed on the non-football injury list with back injury in October, ending his season.

In 2017, Langi appeared in one game and recorded one tackle for the Patriots.

Weโ€™ll have more regarding Langi as the news is available.
