On Tuesday, Rams LT Andrew Whitworth announced via his Twitter account that he’s returning for the 2019 season after contemplating retirement.

Whitworth, 37, is a former second-round pick of the Bengals back in 2006. He spent 11 years in Cincinnati before signing a three-year, $33.75 million contract that included $15 million guaranteed with the Rams in 2017.
Whitworth stands to make a base salary of $10.25 million for the 2019 season.
In 2018, Whitworth appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 3 offensive tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
