Rams HC Jeff Fisher announced that RT Rodger Saffold suffered a dislocated his left shoulder during Thursday night’s preseason opener against the Browns.
- Fisher added that Saffold is expected to miss “a couple of preseason games.“
Saffold was injured on the Rams’ second offensive play and did not return to the game. There was optimism following the game that this wasn’t a serious injury, but it’s worse than the team was anticipating.
Joe Barksdale will take over while he’s out, but it sounds like Saffold should be ready in time for their regular season opener.
