Lindsey Thiry reports that the Rams are signing WR Robert Woods to a four-year contract extension worth up to $68 million that includes $32 million guaranteed.

The Rams have already confirmed the news:

The Rams have been busy getting deals done for core players including CB Jalen Ramsey and WR Cooper Kupp in recent weeks.

Reports surfaced earlier in the week that a deal could be done at some point this week and both Rams HC Sean McVay and Woods later confirmed that they were optimistic about getting a deal done in the near future.

Woods, 28, is a former second-round pick of the Bills back in 2013. He has played out his four-year, $4,866,769 rookie contract with the Bills before signing a five-year, $39 million contract with the Rams in 2017 that included $15 million guaranteed.

Woods stands to make base salaries of $5.5 million and $7.5 million over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2020, Woods has appeared in one game and caught six passes for 105 yards receiving. He has also rushed for 14 yards on one carry.
