Ravens Promoting OL Matt Skura To Active Roster

Jeff Zrebeic is reporting that the Ravens are calling up OL Matt Skura to their active roster on Tuesday now that they’ve lost G Marshal Yanda for the season.

Skura, 24, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Duke back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the team’s practice squad before returning to Baltimore on a future/reserve contract this past January.

Unfortunately, the Ravens elected to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players a few weeks ago and signed him to their practice squad.

During his college career, Skura started 40 games at center and earned first-team All-ACC as a senior.
