49ers Trade OLB Cam Johnson To The Colts

Matt Maiocco reports that the San Francisco 49ers are finalizing a trade that would send OLB Cam Johnson to the Indianapolis Colts.

• The 49ers will receive a seventh-round conditional draft choice from the Colts.
• The condition is whether or not he makes their roster.

Johnson was taken in the seventh-round of the 2012 draft and managed to make his way onto the 49ers roster after an impressive showing agaisnt the Chargers in the preseason finale.

This move frees up a roster spot WR Chris Harper who was signed off the Seahawks practice squad earlier today.
