Ian Rapoport reports that the former Bears RB Michael Bush will visit with the Patriots in the coming days.
The Patriots are reportedly still in the market for running back after they lost LeGarrette Blount to the Steelers a few days ago. New England is always shopping around for value at running back, so it’s not surprising to see them kick the tires on a guy like Bush.
Bush, 29, was released by the Bears a few weeks ago in move that cleared $1.85 million in cap space.
Last year, he appeared in 13 games and ran for 197 yards on 63 carries (3.1 YPC) and contributed four total touchdowns.
