Update:
Please disregard my recent tweet about the Raiders. These rumors haven't been confirmed by the AP. I'm sorry.

I have no information about the status about the Raiders coach. I was never covering the story.

Terry Collins has already deleted his Tweet that said: โMy sources tell me that @RAIDERS head coach Dennis Allen is fired and an announcement could come as soon as Tuesday.โ
The Raiders arenโt departing from London until Monday morning, so it seems unlikely that they would make a serious move like firing Allen while the team is still out of the country.
We should know more about his status in the coming days. Weโll provide updates as the news is available.

Terry Collins of the Associated Press is reporting that the Raiders are firing HC Dennis Allen and an official announcement could come as soon as this Tuesday.
- Scott Bair of CSN Bay Area previously reported that the Raiders could consider parting ways with Allen following Week 4โs game given that they will be on bye, and would have the opportunity to make a change in leadership during the extended time off.
- Bair also mentioned out that Oakland could promote with offensive line coach Tony Sparano as their interim head coach if they were to fire Allen.
- ESPNโs Adam Schefter confirms that Sparano is expected to take over as the teamโs head coach if/when an official announcement is made by the team.
Sparano coached the Dolphins for four seasons and led them to a 29-33 record, which included a playoff appearance. Heโs unlikely to be a long-term solution for the Raiders, but he at least does have prior experience running an NFL team.
It makes you wonder if more changes could be coming to the Raiders front office barring a turnaround in the next few weeks, but Raiders owner Mark Davis has hinted that GM Reggie McKenzie could remain in place and get another shot at hiring a second head coach.
Oakland suffered an embarrassing 38 to 14 loss to the Dolphins in London on Sunday and are now 0-4 to start the 2014 season. The Raiders have now lost 10 straight games under Allen, who has a record of 8-28 as the teamโs head coach.
