Saints Re-Sign Veteran S Shiloh Keo

Nick Underhill reports that the Saints are re-signing veteran S Shiloh Keo to an extension.

Keo, 29, is a former fifth-round pick of the Texans back in 2011. He spent just over four years in Houston before he was waived at the start of the 2014 season. The Bengals later signed Keo to a future/reserve contract in January of last year, but he was unfortunately among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

Interestingly enough, Keo reached out to Broncos DC Wade Phillips about an opportunity with the Broncos and they actually signed him to a contract.

Denver elected to re-sign Keo to a one-year contract but was on and off their active roster.

The Saints signed Keo to a one-year contract back in November. He appeared in three games for the Broncos before signing with New Orleans.

In 2016, Keo appeared in  10 games and recorded seven tackles and two fumble recoveries.
