Seahawks’ Contract With WR Amara Darboh Reinstated, Heads To Injured Reserve

The NFL announced Friday that the previously terminated contract between the Seahawks and WR Amara Darboh was reinstated and Seattle has placed Darboh on injured reserve.

Darboh, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.175 million contract and set to make base salaries of $578,000 and $668,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

The Seahawks waived him coming out of the preseason as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players and he wound up being claimed by the Patriots. However, he lasted just a week in New England before he was waived with a failed physical designation.

In 2017, Darboh appeared in all 16 games for the Seahawks and caught eight passes for 71 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
