Seahawks Sign CB Jeremy Boykins & LB Josh Forrest, Cut Two

The Seattle Seahawks announced Thursday that they’ve signed CB Jeremy Boykins and LB Josh Forrest to contracts and waived S Alex Carter and TE Je’Ron Hamm.

Boykins, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Titans as an undrafted free agent out of Central Florida back in May of last year. The Titans waived him with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he was later waived with an injury settlement.

Boykins had a brief stint with the Falcons before returning to the Titans late last year and returning to Tennessee on a futures contract. Unfortunately, the Titans waived him back in June.

During his two-year college career, Boykins recorded 35 total tackles, one sack, one tackle for loss, and four pass defenses.
