Seahawks Waive LB Khairi Fortt From I.R., Sign LS Nolan Frese

The Seattle Seahawks announced Tuesday that they’ve waived LB Khairi Fortt from injured reserve and signed LS Nolan Frese to a contract.

Fortt, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Saints back in 2014. Fortt, unforutnately, lasted just a few months in New Orleans before he was waived and later claimed by the Bengals.

His time in Cincinnati was also short lived, as he was once again cut loose just a month after he joining the team. The Jaguars later signed him off of the Bengals’ practice squad, but he was among their early roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season.

Seattle signed Fortt to a contract just over a month ago.

In 2014, Fortt appeared in three games and recorded a single tackle for the Jaguars.
