A source with knowledge of the situation tells NFLTR that free agent TE Chris Gragg worked out for the 49ers on Thursday.
Gragg, 28, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bills back in 2013. Unfortunately, he missed the entire 2016 season with a torn ACL that led to him being placed on injured reserve at the start of the season.
Gragg played out the final year of his four-year, $2,219,175 contract with the Bills back in 2017 and later signed a one-year contract with the Jets. However, he was once again placed on injured reserve with an ankle injury and wound up missing the entire 2017 season.
In 2015, Gragg appeared in 13 games for the Bills and caught 12 passes for 150 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
