Steelers HC Mike Tomlin indicated that Charlie Batch, not Byron Leftwich, will be the Steelers’ back-up quarterback even though Leftwich is healthy.
Even with Byron Leftwich healthy, Charlie Batch will be the No. 2 QB in Dallas behind Ben Roethlisberger.

Batch upset the Ravens two weeks ago when the Steelers had to make a spot start for the injured Ben Roethlisberger. Tomlin is obviously riding the hot hand here.
Roethlisberger has been somewhat injury prone over the last two seasons, so the Steelers’ back-up quarterback situation is certainly one worth monitoring. It’s tough to envision the team keeping on Leftwich past this season.
