Texans Re-Sign DE Joel Heath To One-Year Deal

According to Aaron Wilson, the Houston Texans re-signed DE Joel Heath to a one-year deal.  

Texans didn't tender RFA DE Joel Heath, per source, but did re-sign him to a one-year deal worth less than $2.025 million original round tender

Heath was an upcoming restricted free agent, but Wilson says the new deal is less than the $2.025 million original round tender.  

Heath, 25, signed with the Texans in 2016 as an undrafted free agent out of Michigan State.  

In 2018, Heath appeared in five games for the Texans, recording two total tackles.
