Vikings Re-Sign LB Cameron Smith To Practice Squad

The Minnesota Vikings announced Tuesday that they’ve re-signed LB Cameron Smith to their practice squad.

10. LB Cameron Smith

Smith, 22, was selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft by the Vikings. He signed a four-year, $2.8 million rookie contract but was waived coming out of the preseason and later re-signed to Minnesota’s practice squad. 

The Vikings promoted Smith to their active roster last month before recently waiving him. 

During his four-year college career with the Trojans, Smith recorded 354 total tackles, 26.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, four interceptions, 14 pass defenses, three fumble recoveries, one forced fumble, and scored one defensive touchdown.
