ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Minnesota Vikings released WR Michael Jenkins on Monday.
This moves comes shortly before Jenkins was due a $2.425 million bonus was due March 16.
Jenkins, 30, had a base salary of $825,000 for the 2013 season, but another disappointing season with the Vikings left him largely expendable. It’s hard to imagine that there will be lot of interest in him this offseason.
