  1. NFL/NFLPA need to look at this given the spectrum is too broad when
    looking at OL, or the difference between a 34 and 43 DE or LB.

    If at all possible maybe have a backup franchise tag #s ie valuable backup QB hitting FA, noone else to tag, so tag the backup QB at a lower price to the starting QB.

    • You make a good point that having a center count the same as an left tackles doesnโ€™t take into account their real market value. Weโ€™re already seeing players contest the tag figures based on playing like Jermichael Finley, Terrell Suggs and Jimmy Graham. Something to definitely consider.
