Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that Clemson QB Deshaun Watson is scheduled to visit with the 49ers on Monday and into Tuesday. From there, Watson will later travel to Arizona and meet with Cardinals on Wednesday.
Watson has previously visited with the Jaguars, Browns and Chiefs. There was also some buzz about the Jets doing a lot of work on him last month.
Beyond that, a recent report mentioned that Bills GM Doug Whaley is “in love” with Watson.
Jason La Canfora mentioned earlier in the day that he has heard “strong buzz” about the Cardinals and Watson, so this could be something worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks.
During his college career at Clemson, Watson has completed 67.7 percent of his passes for 9,201 yards to go along with 83 touchdowns and 29 interceptions over the course of 32 games. Watson has also contributed 1,744 yards rushing and 21 touchdowns on the ground.
We have him being selected by the Browns in the First Round of our 2017 NFL Mock Draft.
