Cowboys WR Terrance Williams Recovering From Broken Foot

Todd Archer of ESPN reports that Cowboys WR Terrance Williams is recovering from a broken foot that required surgery.

On Monday, Cowboys executive VP Stephen Jones said that Williams suffered an offseason injury that could force him to miss some of OTAs, but he refused to disclose nature of the injury or if surgery required.

Dallas has bolstered their receiving corps in recent days with by signing Allen Hurns and Deonte Thompson, but it sounds like Williams should be okay for the start of the season, barring a setback.

Williams, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2013. He played out the final year of his rookie contract and made a base salary of $1.686 million for the 2016 season before signing a four-year, $17 million contract that included $9.5 million guaranteed.

Williams stands to make base salaries of $3.5 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Williams appeared in all 16 games for the Cowboys and caught 53 passes for 568 yards receiving and no touchdowns for the Cowboys.
