Eagles Expected To Sign LB Corey Nelson To One-Year Deal

Josina Anderson reports that the Eagles are expected to sign Broncos free agent LB Corey Nelson to a one-year contract.

Nelson, 25, is a former seventh-round pick of the Broncos back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,268,600 contract and made a base salary of $690,000 for the 2017 season.

Nelson was testing the free agent market as an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career.

In 2017, Nelson appeared in five games for the Broncos and recorded four tackles and no sacks.
