Last we heard regarding Clayborn, he had interest from several teams including the Cowboys, Falcons, Seahawks, Vikings, and Giants.
Clayborn has been mentioned as an under-the-radar defensive end for teams looking for upgrades in free agency, so it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise to see a number of teams interested in him. Most of them are likely shopping for value at this point in time.
Clayborn, 26, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers, but he hasn’t developed into the kind of pass-rusher they were hoping he’d be. Last year, the Bucs did not pick up his fifth-year option, which is why he’s in position to test the open market next week.
In 2014, Clayborn was limited to appearing in just one game due to a torn biceps he sustained in earlier September.
