Falcons More Like To Trade Up For To No. 4 For Khalil Mack?

According Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network, it makes more sense for the Falcons to trade up to No. 4 overall and take Buffalo LB Khalil Mack, than trade up to No. 1 overall for Jadeveon Clowney.

The Browns are reportedly willing to trade out of the No. 4 pick, but this scenario would require Mack to get past the Rams at No. 2 and the Jaguars at No. 3 overall.

Reports from the past few days have mentioned that the Texans are looking for several picks for the No. 1 overall pick, so the cost seems almost too high for anyone to make the move up.

It’s worth mentioning that executives have told Tony Pauline that they believe Sammy Watkins could be the Jaguars’ pick.

An offensive tackle could still be in play for the Falcons if they were to stay at No. 6 overall. This would obviously allow them to keep their draft picks and build their offense and defensive lines.

We have the Falcons remaining at No. 6 and taking Texas A&M Jake Matthews in our final 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
