NFL Notes: 49ers, Bills, Cowboys, Panthers, Texans

49ers

• CB Jimmie Ward (foot) has been ruled out for Week 11. (Matt Barrows)

Bills

• Ian Rapoport reports that Bills LB Kiko Alonso is reportedly ahead of schedule in his rehab from ACL surgery.
• Rapoport adds that Alonso began running in straight lines a month ago and will be ready in time for the Bills OTAs next year.

Cowboys

• Ian Rapoport reports that the Cowboys won’t active DL Amobi Okoye off non-football illness list,  which in turn ends his 2014 season.

Panthers

• QB Cam Newton is not on the Panthers’ Week 11 injury report. (Steve Reed)
• HC Ron Rivera announced that RB DeAngelo Williams (foot) did not practice on Thursday, but added that he should be back for Friday’s session.
• DT Star Lotulelei is sporting cast, a boot and on crutches Thursday and appears unlikely to be available for the team’s Week 13 game. (Black & Blue Review)

Texans

• HC Bill O’Brien told reporters on Thursday that RB Arian Foster will be a game-time decision in Week 11. (Drew Dougherty)
