Ravens Waive QB David Fales From Practice Squad, Sign CB Robertson Daniel

The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’ve waived QB David Fales from their practice squad and signed G Jarell Broxton and CB Robertson Daniel to the unit on Tuesday.

  3. WR/KR Keenan Reynolds
  4. OLB Brennen Beyer
  5. WR Kenny Bell
  6. DB Asa Jackson
  7. WR Michael Campanaro
  8. TE Mitchell Henry
  9. G Jarell Broxton
  10. CB Robertson Daniel

Fales, 25, was taken in the sixth-round of the Bears back in 2014. He was unable to make the 53-man roster coming out of the season during his rookie season and he has been on and off of the Bears’ practice squad since then.

The Bears once again elected to cut Fales loose this past weekend, as they got their roster down to 53 players. Chicago later signed Matt Barkley to their practice squad, which left Fales on the outs with the team.

The Ravens signed him to their practice squad at the start of the season.

He has yet to appear in an NFL game.

Daniel, 24, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May of last year. He was unfortunately waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to the Packers’ practice squad.

Green Bay would eventually call him up towards the end of last year. However, he was among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason. Daniel briefly returned to the Packers’ practice squad before being cut loose a few weeks ago.

After a brief stint on the Redskins’ practice squad, Daniel joined the Ravens’ taxi squad a few weeks ago and was later promoted to the active roster. However, Baltimore cut him loose last week.

During his college career at BYU, Daniel recorded 112 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, two recoveries and 19 pass defenses.
