Veteran OLB Paul Kruger Visiting Saints & Chiefs

Mike Triplett of ESPN reports that veteran OLB Paul Kruger is scheduled to visit with the Saints on Tuesday and will then travel to meet with the Chiefs.

Kruger wound up being among the Browns’ early roster cuts on Monday, but it appears as though he already has a decent amount of interest.

Kruger, 30, is a former second-round pick of the Ravens back in 2009. He played out his rookie contract with Baltimore before signing on with the Browns as a priority free agent in 2013.

Kruger was in the fourth year of his five-year, $40.5 million contract that included $20 million guaranteed and was set to make a base salary of $6.5 million for the 2016 season when he was cut.

In 2015, Kruger appeared in all 16 games for the Browns and recorded 27 tackles and 2.5 sacks.
