AFC Notes: Broncos, Jaguars, Jets, Titans

Broncos

  • Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reported Wednesday that the Broncos are expected to put QB Trevor Siemian on the trading block this offseason. (NFLTR)
  • Rapoport admits that Denver probably wouldn’t be looking for much in return for Siemian.
  • However, Rapoport thinks it’s possible the Broncos to get a fifth- or sixth-round pick for Siemian when all is said and done.

Jaguars

Mike Kaye of First Coast News takes a look at eight notable free agents with ties to the Jaguars’ coaching staff.

Kaye’s list includes

Jets

  • Rich Cimini of ESPN writes that the Jets want to re-sign TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins, but they’re still trying to find common ground in contract talks.
  • Cimini says that Seferian-Jenkins should be in the $6 million-a-year neighborhood based on comparable tight ends, but the Jets have reportedly offered him only $4 million per year.
  • If the two sides can’t get an agreement in place in the coming weeks, Cimini expects Seferian-Jenkins to draw considerable interest on the open market.
  • If the Jets look to the free agent market, Cimini believes Eagles TE Trey Burton would be a good fit for them long-term.
