Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports reports that sources close to Stanford QB Andrew Luck has informed them that Luck will enter the 2012 NFL draft.
“He could still go back and register for classes, but that’s not the plan,” Cole’s source notes. “That’s not his style. He doesn’t like all the attention to begin with, and now you’re talking about doing something that would bring a lot of extra attention on him.”
This is great news for the Indianapolis Colts who are very close to wrapping up the first pick in the draft. There are other great quarterbacks available in this years draft class but Luck appears to be heads above players like Landry Jones, Matt Barkley and Robert Griffin III.
