Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times reports that the Ravens WR Anquan Boldin will have surgery on his knee and miss the remainder of the regular season.
Boldin’s specific injury is reported to be a small tear in his meniscus and the team is confident that he’ll be able to return to for the teams first playoff game. Pittsburgh’s loss to the 49ers is even more of a blessing now that Baltimore will be without one of their offensive weapons. Torrey Smith will take over as the teams #1 wide receiver and Lee Evans should be the #2 option.
