The Chicago Bears announced Tuesday that they’ve officially activated S Ha Ha Clinton-Dix and OL T.J. Clemmings from the PUP list.
Clinton-Dix, 26, was taken with the No. 21 overall pick by the Packers back in 2014. He played out the final year of his four-year, $8,338,501 contract when the Packers picked up his fifth-year option.
Green Bay later traded Clinton-Dix to the Redskins last year for a fourth-round pick. He wound up signing a one-year contract with the Bears this past March.
In 2018, Clinton-Dix appeared all 16 games for the Packers and Redskins and recorded 93 tackles, one sack, three interceptions, two forced fumbles, a recovery and six pass defenses.
Clemmings, 27, is a former fourth-round pick out of Pittsburgh by the Vikings in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was in the final year of his four-year, $2.804 million rookie contract when the Vikings waived him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit in 2017.
The Reskins claimed him off of waivers only to cut him loose at the start of the regular season. Clemming was once again claimed off waivers; this time by the Raiders.
Oakland later waived Clemming with an injury designation and he reverted to their injured reserve list. The Bears signed him to a contract this past May.
In 2018, Clemmings appeared in four games for the Raiders.
